Dublin Baptist Church
Dublin Baptist Church (DBC) began as a dream in the hearts and minds of the members of the Lane Avenue Baptist Church in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Stepping out in faith, several of the members began a mission chapel in 1978. In March of 1979, a 6-acre tract of land on Coffman Road in Dublin, Ohio was purchased. The chapel was constituted as Dublin Baptist Church on September 13, 1981 with 146 charter members. On May 22, 1983, the first Dublin Baptist Church building was dedicated at 7195 Coffman Road.Dublin Baptist Church has experienced significant growth since its opening, and continues to grow and welcome more and more families to the Dublin Church family. In 1997, a building expansion program was completed, which more than doubled the existing space, enabling Dublin Baptist Church to reach out and meet the needs of a growing body of believers. The new sanctuary and preschool wing was dedicated to the glory of God and His service on January 26, 1997.The Activity and Recreation Center, located at 7200 Coffman Road, was purchased in 2001, adding five beautifully wooded acres and 6,400 square feet of multi-purpose space for the expansion of our youth and Japanese Chapel ministries.
